It's NOMference eve, again! We missed each other last fall.

And honest to Gods who thought Rusty was still gonna be alive for this on? Not me. I mean I guess they can just AI the sh!t out of him or something. I'm sure whatever they do will be terrible.

So if you are stuck watching or morbidly curious, please join us for NOMference.

To those of you who've just moved into the NOM ward or those of you visiting, let me explain what NOMference is. We are going to hang out on a live thread and watch GC together. Each speaker in GC starts with a score of 0. It's up to us to decide how crap or good their talk is. You get to award points or take them away. We try to keep it around Hogwarts House points styles mostly 5s, 10s, 20s. But if you're really feeling it, go for it! And you can post funny memes or stories, eat an edible, just do whatever you need to do to get through the weekend.

Hop on NOM and join in the fun or just check in from time to time. You do you. Oh, but be sure to drink a coffee drink for and in behalf of someone stuck at GC.

President Mopag is back! I suffered through conference last year on my lonesome and it will be nice to have company this time.

Don't know how much I'll be able to contribute but I'll definitely be reading. Thanks so much for powering through these sessions, el presidente!

NOMference is back, yo!

The NOM board was down for last GC. I didn't even watch it. But it was kind of sad. There is something cathartic about NOMference.

I'm drinking this frozen German Chocolate latte from this coffee stad called 151 Coffee. I don't know if they exist outside of Texas, but if you ever see one, it's worth a stop. So yummy!

And y'all I had a straight up revelation about the drink I'm making for myself for the priesthood or women's or whatever-the-f they are calling it session tonight. Details to come later....

One thing that stands out during the Artists Formerly Known as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir performance before the start of conference is that usually they have a row dedicated to POC for the camera to pan across. I didn't see one POC this time. I know the church struggles with diversity, but come on.

I guess with T-rex in office the church could (or was forced to) drop any DEI policies.
