15% tithing

If members agreed to raise their tithing to 15%, could they get a 1-hour service on Sunday and no more harsh and embarrassing pronouncements from the Brethren?

1 hour church is being tested in some locations right now.

Heard this just yesterday. This way the corp can fit more wards into one building, sell off underused buildings and real estate and save money at the same time. Plus they get the added bonus of saying, "See, we're just like all the other mainstream churches."
