What Renlund has failed to establish that the church may be looking beyond the mark. Instead of a simple belief in God, there are requirements for exact wording in baptism, worrying about whether a toe pokes up, doing temple ceremonies, etc.

I like his point that truth needs to be combined with love. Too often there is just judgement when someone *thinks* they have the truth. More often people who really have the truth don’t need to get all judgmental about it. But over all, the talk was awful. -10
