It's been a while, I wish I could post good news. And yes there is plenty good to post. But nothing to do with the church.
Every day now several years I get a daily digest from my best friend about his employee.
His employee is technically my bishop, as I live within his ward-boundaries.
He's also the uncle of an ex-SIL. And my former Inlaws just moved to the ward, 20 miles away.

Now to the bishop, to call him a misanthropic, hypersexual pig would be an insult, to pigs that is.
The sheer vileness and depravity I see pass every day beggars belief. Even worse, the memes and messages he spreads to his relatives and my friend.... in that appgroup are 4 former bishops, 2 current bishops and a current counselor to the SP
Man, I wish you could read and understand Dutch....

His stopping-sentence is: What The FETCH Do I Care!!!
And he blasts this into his phone, usually while talking to a member with with questions.

3 weeks into his being a bishop his counselor suffered the loss of his dad.
So a funeral was held, bishop presided and a movie of the service was made.
Bishop set up the camera's etc, so 2 weeks afterwards counselor calls the bishop asking for the recording.

WRONG QUESTION: Why the Hell do you need that recording, your old man's DEAD!!! It's just a mortal body you stuffed into the ground, man up you sissy !!! I haven't got the time nor the inclination for your sad sob-stories. What the Fetch do you care, I don't !!!
Are you Gay or something? I put my kids on motorbikes aged 4, and they don't cry and ask for stupid videos and they aren't fags.

Stuff like this, all day, every day.

About the girl aged 14 that works at the store: She's got a nice pouty mouth, perfect for oral.....
About the boy aged 16 what works at the store: Has a bicycle and not a moped, must be gay......
About the middle-aged vegan lady from university: a vegan feminist is a bitch that pees standing up.....and she smells and needs to get you know what
About his sister (former seminary-teacherof my kids) : She needs a husband otherwise I will never see her in the afterlife.....
About my inlaws: They are total nutjobs
About his niece (my former SIL): She's a whale, never mind he's nearing 400 pounds himself.....

And so on and so forth.....
Then he wonders why I still refuse to come back to Church, because in many ways I still look and act mormonish.

But remember:
He is worthy because he pays tithing
He is worthy because he wears his garments
He is worthy because he lives the WoW
And he has a Templerecommend.

And WE don't, we are vile apostates.

Wow, I didn't know you had MAGA Republicans over there!

This guy needs to be called out and publicly humiliated. Actually, he needs to be excommunicated, but like you said, he is temple recommend worthy .

Is he doing any of this at work? If so it could and should be elevated to a Human Resources evaluation.

I'm going to try and give myself some advice here, and think there might be overlap.

It is challenging to deal with extremists while maintaining our own sanity and reputation.

I left after dealing with bishopric member who made child pornography - of his own kids, and other kids in neighborhood. He was convicted - 40 years without parole under Jessica's law.

I was unable to openly talk about him with Mormons as no one believed me prior to his conviction. Even now, cognitive dissonance is real - saying anything about extreme situations makes those who talk about it seem like crazy people themselves.

As horrible as it gets - I think the best way to create change is to embrace the west-side story song - got a roccket? stay cool boy. Haha - as horrific as it gets, I was unable to scream "he's a child molestor!!" It was true, but I could not say it - saying it just made me the crazy warped person. Had to be so very careful who I talked to. Like jury selection - most are not on your side. A horrible game.

Avoid personal attacks. Use logic and reason. Avoid becoming emotional. Do not be hostile, do not be confrontational, do not show anger.

The only way anyone will listen to you, or take anything said seriously is through maintaining professional, calm, mature outlook. Use counter-examples of healthy organizations, praise those quiet kind individuals and families who deserve praise. Sometimes just a look is all it takes to convey skepticism - make them the crazy person, not you. - roll eyes -ok crazy guy - physically distance, provide attention and eye contact to the sane people, change topic.

He works at my friend.
But my friend tries to keep him at the productionline, packaging flour and other bakingstuff. And tries to keep him away from clients and store-personnel.
The bishop also drives taxi for special-needs kids….

He’s a ticking timebomb.

Would it be worth it to you to take a copy of his texts to higher church authority? Or would you friend want to? You would have to weigh the costs of doing something as apposed to rolling your eyes and letting it go as not your problem. Or maybe it is partly a problem to you as this jerk is bishop or boss to people you care about and he is hurting people. You are the only one who can answer if it is worth the cost of an apostate trying to complain about a believing temple worthy bishop.

But yikes, this guy is awful. And has no shame if he puts things like that in writing.

His elder brother is counselor in the Stakepresidency, and participates in their nice funny appgroup sharing "funny memes".
Most of these are sexists, racist, and borderline pornographic. So some higher-ups are aware, at least technically speaking.

Says enough about them....
Also when he was called 60% of the ward walked out, should have been a red flag to the SP as well.....

Wow, a lot going on over there across the pond. Sounds like the opposite of the gospel of Christ there in your corner of the world.

Bishop from hell sounds like a real corker. Wonder which crazy and stupid mold these bozos come from. As was said, we have plenty just like him here in the states.

Thank you for letting us know about this. It is going to be a huge scandal when it comes to the attention of the church authorities. He clearly cannot stay in the church, so he will be released from any future callings and probably sent to a disciplinary council ( I think those councils have a different name now). There is no way that he will remain temple worthy.
That graphic image tells it all. There are going to be big repercussions, hopefully. Please keep us posted. -- Wndr.
