AI Chat is getting so good it will probably replace humans social media Mormon missionaries. At least they could make it entertaining.

I really think AI is what the church has been looking for. I asked it to write a short LDS testimony:

I bear witness that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. I know that he lived a perfect life, suffered for our sins, and was resurrected, providing the opportunity for all of us to repent and return to live with our Heavenly Father. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's true church on the earth, and that through its teachings and ordinances, we can receive the fullness of His gospel and find joy and purpose in this life. I testify that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that through reading and studying it, we can come closer to Christ and receive personal revelation. That would be awesome, and I tried your suggestion, but for some reason the bot refused to do it, saying that it would be inappropriate. It is very touchy about what it will talk about.

Can it write a patriarchal blessing in John Larsen style? Or infants on thrones?

Or better yet, can it write an infants on thrones episode in the style of Ezra Taft Benson?

Now I wonder how well it could write a GC talk in some of the old school apostles style? Pre 1950?

Edited to add: can it do a comparison of BOM with the late war etc to see what other similar items may have existed that human comparison didn’t pick up?
