"Noteworthy" loses director to new policy.

Unfortunately, the official site of "Noteworthy" while announcing a new director offers no thanks for the services of past director Scott Shattuck. Apparently, Shattuck chose to let his temple recommend lapse, and says he has no plans to renew it.

The church is definitely in retrenching mode, and likely will be at least until Susan Bednar's husband is in the grave.

You mean the guy who turns the young (for a prophet) age of 90 in the year 2042. That's going to be a deep trench.

Super sad. What a waste. This purge is so ridiculous and mean-spirited and asinine.

Do the performers have any say over what appears on their site? BYU is known for its unrighteous dominion over its students such as having the BYU Administration choose student leaders rather than electing them, and insisting the student newspaper have faculty approval of every article.

I cannot imagine any scenario in which BYU would allow students to control what they say about themselves on an official BYU site.
