It has taken a long, long time for them to come around but I think leadership are finally waking up. It's odd to me that many here on this website have known and prescribed these things for a long time and the church as usual is always playing catch-up and seems perennially behind the curve.

Yeah, I'd say they're still two or more steps behind because this isn't an official Church magazine. We're still waiting for an "Ask a Therapist" column in the Liahona. But then the answer would almost always be "talk to your bishop." 
God is Love. God is Truth. The greatest problem with organized religion is that the organization becomes god, rather than a means of serving God.
