The brethren have declared war on different cultures. According to them, white American Mormon culture is the the one true culture. They have been pushing this all along, but now they are actually verbally preaching it.

Clayton got fired!!!! Well he got ametrias status. But that is kind of the same thing. We won't have to worry about him getting a big red chair in the future.

Oaks has given TWO consecutive talks WITHOUT bashing the LGBTQIA+ community. He talks are still highly problematic, but still, WOW!

Gong has to self quarantine because of a possible COVID exposure. Or maybe he just doesn't want to be there.

I'm also doing something a little extra this NOMference. In case you haven't read the Saturday morning thread, the church has called out Tarot and Oracle decks in the latest version of CHI. So in order to make the SCMC more angry with me, I'm going to pull a card for us for each session.

That's right! The things you learn about in SS are heavily steeped in occult magic. Lots of the Doctrine and Covenants is tbh.

So what can we learn from this card? A lot of the the interpretations point towards strength, leadership and control.

There is also a sense of inner control, inner balance. That's what I'm going to focus on.
