I'd love to ask how you do it, MoPag, but unfortunately I've had to watch every one too. Just. So. Uninteresting. What's worse, it's not even so horrible that it makes for compelling viewing. Just boring.

I don't remember references to Palm Sunday before. In the midst of the JS-fest, are they trying to move the church closer to traditional Christianity?

Not just mainstream Christianity but the Evangelicals. They've been trying to get a seat at that particular table in the middle school cafeteria for years. Too bad the evangelicals HATE us and always will.
