On top of that, another husband of a women who joined the Preparing A People cult was shot at in AZ and since received a court ordered protection and has fled in hiding to protect himself and his children.

Daybell published Julie Rowe’s books and according to her in a recent YouTube video says that she knows he is innocent and that they both (Rowe and Daybell) received visions that Daybell’s wife was going to die last year in a car accident but that plans changed and her life was extended for a year.

The whole thing seams extremely strange especially watching the Julie Rowe YouTube interview. Like who in the world comes up with this stuff?
I hope they find the kids safe.
Edited to add: to be fair, Preparing A People (a media company, not a group or cult) posted a statement that can be found here.

Many of his books deal with doomsday situations or near-death experiences, including his own, East Idaho News reported.
Daybell and Vallow were affiliated with Preparing A People, a group that says its mission is to “help prepare the people of this earth for the second coming of Jesus Christ,” the news outlet reported.
