Over on the MADD board the the are claiming that this morning Bill Hamblin passed away.

I wanted to post this for reference in case anyone was interested. It is a complete listing of the blog post interactions between Dr. Philip Jenkins and Dr. Hamblin on BoM historicity.
The blog posts from Dr. Jenkins were originally intended to point out the absurdity of fringe scholarship being used to defend religious claims. As an example he decided to use the BoM. Upon seeing these articles and the ridicule being heaped on the venerable BoM, Dr. Hamblin could not help but publish his own responses. It is a fascinating online debate. Check it out!
