I have been getting message on LinkedIn lately from people saying they want me to participate in consulting phone calls. They offer to pay for my time. Anyone know anything about these? Are they legit or are they a scam?

I check LinkedIn about 1-2 times per month; just logged in but didn't have any of those solicitation messages.
