I looked at KSL.com this morning and no interesting news. Then looked at SLtrib.com and found the story that RMN is to meet the Pope today. Isn’t that a twist of stories. Usually, KSL pummels you with stories on how awesome the Q15 are. Anyway, It’s the first time a profit had met the Pope. This must be why all the Q15 went to Rome.
I hope RMN listens to Pope Francis and takes some lessons on apologizing.

Nah, the Pope wants to meet with RSN to better learn how to mitigate a sex abuse cover up.

I have a feeling it's a much bigger deal for Pres. Nelson than for the pope.

Do you think RMN will refer to him as Your Holiness or Mr. The Beast? Do you think he'll be able to resist saying something like, "You know, I have more priesthood power in my little finger than you have in your entire church." (a phrase I picked up from my Aaronic Priesthood days)

If they give the pope a Book of Mormon, I recommend they remove 1st Nephi chapter 13 first.

I'm at a loss to explain why the Pope has never come to Salt Lake seeking an audience with any Mormon prophet.....and it would be such a feather in his zucchetto. Or better yet the papal mitre!

What do you think the pope will do with his gifts from RMN? Throw them in the trash?

I'm betting the Catholic church has a huge storage facility (think Indiana Jones and Raiders of the Lost Ark) where this sort of thing is exiled to oblivion. But no sweat! Church members are glad to see their tithing spent this way.....
