Tonight Spouseman and I broke open a bottle of wine from Argentina with dinner. This was our first drink at the table with kids.

I did mention to the kids that while we are having occasional drinks, my parents and siblings do not know about this and it is my news to share but this week is not the time at Thanksgiving.

Littlest: so can we tell them Saturday?

Me: No, I will tell them someday but I don't think they will understand it and I don't want to hurt their feelings because they believe differently about it than I do.

Littlest: (sighs) I'm so proud of you for being true to your heart! Do what's true to your heart and you believe in!

This kid is a kick in the pants. They are so tiny, have to admit I did not expect that level of enthusiastic support.

These are the type of exchanges that keep us going sometimes. Thanks for sharing that put a smile on my face for sure.
