Those establishments are a bit on the COBy side, but I'm up for anything. My lunch comfort zone is typically a beer and pub food at Twist or awesome tacos and a Margarita at Taqueria 27. The best local brewery casual hang outs are Fisher and Avenues Proper. Booze does not have to be on the menu but it can be a more enjoyable outing if it is. Other awesome and a bit more adventurous SLC dinning: Shawarma from Curry Fried Chicken on State, Tosh's has the best Ramen, excellent Asian/sushi at Sapa, beer and Cajun at the Bayou, excellent East India buffet at Saffron Valley, great Italian food at Stone Ground, just to name a few.2bizE wrote: ↑Wed Oct 17, 2018 2:17 pm I’m warming up to the idea of meeting some NOMies and giving up a little annonimity.
A lunch downtown SLC might be nice. Some easy, comfortable location like the Lionhouse Pantry or the Garden Restaurant at Joseph Smith Memorial. Perhaps another location will work also.
I hope you know I was kidding about the Temple square eateries. The taqueria sounds good. Since I drive into SLC, I can make the Foothill location work. I'm two blocks from work to T27 in downtown, so I don't have to deal with parking. Let's shoot for the middle of the month when No Tof is in town. It will need to be a Wednesday for me next month. It's still fairly close to downtown, and those of us who don't work downtown don't have to drive in circles for an hour looking for parking...
