Worshiping Mormon

Has anyone known of anyone who thought we worship Mormon? To me, this seemed to be the weakest argument for fighting the nickname. I have met many who questioned which god we worship or who thought we worship JS. I have never met anyone who thought we worship Mormon. Anyone have a different experience?

What we are accused of believing in a different Jesus than Christians, which is absolutely true.

No, we do not worship Mormon. We worship Joseph Smith.
