When I try to browse to the Mormon Discussions website I get this:
I've seen this from time to time elsewhere and it always scares me away. Is this some kind of cyberbullying or just a glitch?
What's with the Mormon Discussions warning?

Re: What's with the Mormon Discussions warning?
Probably related to the difference between HTTP and HTTPS which is a secured and encrypted connection where HTTP is plaintext connections. Chrome usually warns you about http sites. Most sites now offer HTTPS. And you should use https wherever possible as best practice.

Ok, I just checked myself in Firefox. I get the warning too. This is about the digital certificate that guarantees https identities.
Their certificate expired yesterday. A bunch of certificates will be invalidated in Chrome update 70 so expect to see it more often.

This is a technical problem, not the wrath of an angry god. Bill Reel is probably updating the encryption certificate on his site since it appears that it expired on October 8. It's not hard to do, but it does require a brief use of the root login. All "https" based websites use certificates that eventually expire and you have to update them within a week or two of their expiration with a new version.
I'm sure that Bill and every other Mormon podcaster (Russell Nelson looks on angrily) is hard at work on new material based on the crazy weekend that was broadcast to us all. Once he get deluged with notices about this scary message I'm sure he will roll his eyes and get it updated.
