Is Sam Young going to chain himself to the Temple?

Like all of you waiting with great anticipation, I didn't sleep a wink last night wondering what Sam Young had up his sleeve.
His meeting with an apostle failed to materialize.
His plan went into action last night! Here's the schedule from his website!
Sunday, July 29th
9:00am: I will announce the entire action from the shadow of the Salt Lake Temple. It will be broadcast by livestream on Facebook and hopefully Youtube. I haven’t figured that one out yet.
11:00am: I’m going to sacrament meeting to renew my covenants.
5:00pm: I return to South Temple and hope to meet many of my friends.
6:45 – 8:00pm: Still at South Temple, a daily ritual will be established and a special meeting conducted.
Notice in his timeline that he states "a daily ritual will be established"?
He was spotted at Home Depot with an orange cart full of chains!
Hmmmmm......
I think he's going to climb the Salt Lake temple and chain himself to Moroni in a suggestive spooning position until the Apostles wake up and change the interview practice!
Go Sam Go!

He has now posted his intentions. He will invite each of the 15 to show up for an interview that will be live streamed. They will speak with adults who have been impacted by the invasive questions with mormon youth.
There is no way in the world the Q15 will show.

Not a chance in the world that any of the Q15 have the courage to talk with an unfriendly source. They are all cowards of the highest degree, which is surprising considering they like to tell us they have the spirit of God running through them.
I'll be curious to see if anything comes of this. I think the Q15 is going to gamble that the only ones paying attention here are exmos and nevermos. I think they might be right.

I think you are right that the only ones paying attention are exMos and NoMos. TBMs are trained to think church leaders can do no wrong and that people deserve all the guilt and shame the bishop can pile onto them. So, anyone going into the bishop and then claiming he was traumatized is making stuff up. Bishops don’t ever ask 8 year olds about the law of chastity using words the kid has no idea what mean. Bishops never get voyeristic about YW’s sins, asking for porno details. Bishops never never teach kids to be ashamed of normal feelings or behavior. Nope, that sort of stuff never happens.

Sam reminds me a lot of Kate Kelly. Both these activists were very strong in their ideals and their courage. Very best wishes to Sam, and
hopefully we will see some progress made. ( I wonder if they are going to try to block Sam with one of those little trash trucks that they used to block Kate and the Ordain Women group). -- Wndr.
