It's a tough week. Recovering from a faith crisis can have long term effects

What is the Anxiety about?
Fundamentalist religions excel at conditioning us to be subtly worried, they say put your faith in God and the church, but then when things go wrong they say that was God's will and church members make mistakes. They can't have it both ways. I think we are conditioned to expect that nothing should go wrong since we are taking large doses of their spiritual panacea. But in real life things go wrong, that is the human condition.
I'm also still dealing with all the leftover stress and anxiety conditioning, trying to live more in the moment, as just a human being. Trying to live in the real world with all of its ambiguity. Working on developing the pre-frontal cortex.
Hope things get better for you.

The existential dread runs deep. I don't think there is any magic thing I can tell you. But your contributions on the board are appreciated and we all hope you can find a balance.
