I remember reading an article by one of the FARMS contributors back in the day in which he admitted that the Book of Mormon doesn't contain any Hebraisms that couldn't be explained by copying the style of the KJV. It's one of those things you realize later that you should have written down.

Another one was a GA back in the mid-20th century bragging about how someday there might be some sort of blood test that would prove once and for all that Native Americans came from Israel. I think I asked about this one before but didn't get any hits.

If nobody remembers either of these can you suggest where else I might ask without getting pounced on by pissed-off-wanna-be apologists for twenty pages?

Finding those quotes might be illuminating. But your process for finding those quotes might end up being far more interesting for reasons you have noted. This is like a microcosm of LDS history where the damning evidence was just sitting out in the open but got stuffed inside the First Presidency vault because Joseph Fielding Smith found it first instead of D. Michael Quinn.

Good luck in your search and let us know if you find anything. As interesting as those might be, I suspet that current believers will wave it away like the ranting claims at a UFO conspiracy meeting.

Thanks Reuben, I took your advice. I asked in as non-threatening I could manage it. We'll see what happens. I'll let y'all know if I strike pay dirt.
