All it took was one good friend of hers who pushed the right buttons, and my MIL tightening her grip on my DW by stating she expects us to care for her and taking her into our home.
It was the breaking point.

And all the pent-up hate, distress, and trauma came out the last 2 weeks.

I don't quite understand the faith-breaking nature of this particular expectation.

The point is this, DW always pulled the short stick in her family.
MIL behaviour reflecta poorly on any Christian.
Men being protected despite being adulterers, molesters, etc all added weight to her Shelf.
Problems with history and JS in particular.

Now suddenly she started talking. And confessed she didn’t buy it, for years already.
