Don’t let me regress

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

Don’t let me regress

Post by Kishkumen »

Sooo, there is a major rift in the family. I’m not going into details, however please just know - it’s bad. What was supposed to be a positive event went horribly, tragically bad.

That being said, there is a now a massive disturbance in the force.

My plan for the foreseeable future is simply to stay down here in AZ and weather out this storm, for a long time. Those of you who know me IRL, if you hear me ever say anything about going 1 state North, please just punch me. Hard.

We have your cyber back.

Having watched your flaming hair blossom and recede I’d say your ability to weather storms will serve you well in this one.

Best of luck.

Sorry to hear about your troubled waters. But ya know, it's not so bad anymore up here behind the zion curtain in the salty city. With global warming we hardly get any snow anymore and it seems there's a new micro brewery and or distillery opening up every week. Also, with NV and CO on both sides, there's plenty of herbal supplements rolling into UT that are also a great way to manage pain and enhance recreational activities and happiness. If you do roll up here to SLC, there's plenty of us NOMs who will buy you a beer and a good hot meal.

What I would give to spend my visiting days in SLC with you fine folks instead... My time in UT over the holidays was (as always) very limited and pre-planned. With little ones, it's rather difficult to break away. However, I resolve not to make that mistake again. On a recent expedition up yonder, I did notice the ever-increasing heathen based establishments as well as the relatively mild weather for December. That being said, the smog was abhorrent and depressing.

I'll be OK, thanks all for the nice comments. The whole thing is bat-shiz crazy. I'm fortunate to not be in the cross-hairs on this one but regret my name is even associated. Alas, the old adage that No Good Deed Goes Unpunished seems to apply.

WTFluff, thanks for the preemptive punches, I needed that.

So sorry to hear this! Hope things can be worked out. Stay safe and be kind to yourself!

Look on the bright side. There might be a nuclear war that will make your problems look inconsequential by comparison.

Good luck with everything, Kish.
