. . . resigned from la Iglesia?

If so, I hope it's going well for his fam and him. I also hope he reports some details of what led to this and how he's doing. I miss that guy!

Looks like, also he indicates why he hasn't been seen around much lately. Apparently NOM was the last thing he needed to let go of.

I saw he posted this on the Redit thread.
Correct, quitting NOM was one of the things I did to get TSCC out of my life. Post less, read less. Only Reddit, and then very occasionally. Stopped Garments in May Quit in June Now attending another normal Church on some sundays. DW is fully onboard, so are the kids. I resigned yesterday. The anger and angst are gone now.
I'm sad to see him go, but wish him the best.

I'm glad he left NOM as part of stepping back from the Church Corp. Because he left right after that thread where people were concerned about him and his marriage, I was concerned he might have been mad at us for getting in his business (even though I think the advice was sound).

I just wish people would say goodbye.
You know how many late nights we've stayed up wondering about him returning with honor? If he broke the law of chastity on his first date? If he dented the car? If he was abducted by Elder Packers former posse?
We'll leave the lights on...

Yep. To tell us whatever happened with the issue he was in the middle of? Tell us about the resignation. That type of thing.
If I saw he had posted, I read the post just because it was almost 100% guaranteed to be interesting.

No wonder I couldn’t connect with him when I visited the Netherlands last month.
Glad he has moved on.
How do you quit NOM?
It’s just fun.

I wonder if he was involved with this leak:
https://mormonleaks.io/newsroom/2017/09 ... rch-funds/
I am kind of surprised that this leak didn't make more waves. I would have thought there would have been coverage in the media on that one.
I remember him talking about it in the past. But I think many members in that part of the world were aware of the problem.

I'm excited for him! It was good to hear he is still "here" but not really HERE. I think we all need to go over to that other side and invite him back. He is missed!

For sure. I tried. It didn't work.

That is always desirable. I have even wondered about a request in a Last Will and Testament letting message boards know. I would like them to say thanks for all the fish and sayonara.

I miss Meilingkie and do wish that he would pop back in one last time, if only to say good-bye. I always enjoyed reading his messages and hearing about how things are on "the other side of the pond." Best wishes always to him and his family --- he always impressed me as a really nice person.

I don't think it's too much to ask. People have there reasons for not saying goodbye but I'm with you... I like the closure and knowing they are physically okay. I am not sure if this is petty but one might feel a little used too without a goodbye, after all, we invest emotionally in each other.

I have returned !
I quit NOM in May, as I needed some distance, and it helped.
A lot to be exact.
The anger is gone now
Posted a return and report.
