Is it true that no new temples were announced? If so, I'm trying to remember when was the last time that happened...

Scott Lloyd over on MD&D always touts that the church must be really growing with all of the announcements of new temples each GC. If that's true, this doesn't look good.

It happened back in 2014.

It seems like they stopped announcing new ones and are going through a huge remodeling period.

I find it funny when TBM's will find any excuse and rebuttal they can hang their hat on to rationalize growth. One year it's temples, the next it's membership stats, etc.
