Believe it or not , I'm in church today!

In an effort not to embarrass my parents in their ward. I'm biting my tongue super hard right now.

Now they are crying about the nauvoo temple and how hey had to leave it behind.

There was just something so special about the nauvoo temple. I mean everytemple is special, but that one just has a special meaning.

What can think about the lord calling specific people by name to go on mission? Why is this in our scriptures?

4 of the 5 nmed in This section eventually left the Church and apostatized. There were worthy of those blessings at that time but eventually forfeited their blessings because of their choices .

In priesthood opening exercises they are presenting a 18 yr old kid with his eagle Award since he is leaving on a mission in 2 weeks but won't be able to have a proper eagle court.

But imagine what a magical Willy Wonkaland it could be like if the church pumped the equivalent millions of dollars into it as Nauvoo.

A few weeks ago we sang the spirit of God in SM. I noticed that W.w Phelps wrote the words. It was sung at the Kirtland temple dedication in 1836. However, the music for the hymn was not written until 1844. So, what tune was these words sung to at the dedication?

We had lesson 31 about marriage. I can't be specific because it would out me if anyone saw, but let's just say it didn't go well for me and revisionist history is strong in our ward.

In a twist of irony, I understand the D&C much better as an undercover apostate than I ever did as a TBM. But strangely no-one wishes to benefit from my knowledge!!
