This came up in another thread this morning so I took a quick browse through this document:

It's not confirmed as legit, but it sure reads like legit BRC material. If it is his, it's so full of irony it certainly trumps the bronze age of Mormon Doctrine! It's so interesting to see BRC point out all the flaws in cults and how not to be deceived by them while he is in one that uses the same logic and methods he's condemning. The inmate running the asylum.

So the COB had certainly diminished BRC, killing Mormon Doctrine and such. Also, this paper might not be legit. In spite of those facts, I think this description of cults still stands out as the COBs view of the world. That may change over time if they ever back off the only one true church claim.

Anyone else ventured into this one yet?

I guess BRM is just old news now. Since they pulled Mormon Doctrine he has no more credibility; nobody interested in his non-published ramblings. Still, it's interesting how much stock we put into this guy for so many years then current leaders once again call out previous leaders on the basis of "They did not have further light and knowledge." To that I say nothing, but my middle finger is held up toward the church office building!

The more I see from BRM the more I realize he was really missing some spokes from his wheel. And he was almost incomprehensibly arrogant.

I immediately thought of how the LDS church perverts D&C 132 to support their one-man-one-woman doctrine when it is CLEARLY talking about polygamy.
