NOM Publications

If I were to be in the vicinity of BYU Provo for something like Education Week (such a long story that would out me if anyone saw it), where could I go to locate NOM-ish books and magazines? Would love to get hold of Dialogue back issues as well as being able to browse the sorts of books about church history that you wouldn't find at Deseret or in the BYU Bookstore. I figure there have GOT to be second-hand bookstores in the area that stock this sort of thing.
When the class schedule comes out I might need you all to help me figure out which classes I could attend that won't make me want to scream or cry or cut my ears off.

LostGirl...If you ever do come to Provo (and if anyone else reads this)...it would be cool for all of us to meet: maybe a lunch or dinner--something.
I'm in SLC, but I enjoy rubbing shoulders with other NOM-sters,...and would just like to put names with faces and so forth. Just a thought.... Driving down and meeting is not a problem....

If you're going to get up to SLC, you might want to stop by Lighthouse Ministries and visit with Sandra Tanner.

I second that. Sandra is VERY sociable and nice to talk to. I thought she had horns (because that is what I was taught as a child),...but after meeting and talking with her, found her to be a lovely woman: polite, courteous, and VERY knowledgeable.

I thought back issues of dialogue were available online for free. Not the latest editions, but older ones.

Back to your original question about used books in Provo, try Pioneer Books in downtown Provo on Center st. They have lots of old cool LDS books and magazines.

Would love to catch up with anyone that is available at the time, although I will need to work around my travel companions.
2bize yes the older issues are online. I am finding myself being a bit old school and printing them out so I can make notes on them.
Thanks for the other bookstore suggestions. I am not sure whether we will have time in salt lake itself but will see how it goes.
