Bill Reel pings a rock off the forehead of the church

My heart goes out to Bill Reel tonight. This little David nailed the institutional Goliath squarely between the eyes with his emotionally charged podcast, "The Spiritual Trauma of Mormonism". Bill. Even though your aim was perfect, your rocks are too small (um . . . I'm talking about the rocks in your sling) to drop the megaman giant of a church although I think they'll be pretty pissed. Speaking of rocks that aren't meant for slings, you gots some mighty big ones to boldly and publicly go where no man has ever so passionately gone before. Not to discredit others, but just to say you really inspire me and how I wish I could frame up my thoughts as you do. Stay safe, what ever you want that to be.

But it says subscribers only. When I went to it from this link, it wasn't available.

Sorry! When I went to pick up the link, I noticed it was for premium members only so won't be available until July 18th. This podcast is very raw, emotional, and Bill throws around some light swearing (bull shit, worked my ass off, etc.). The whole podcast seems uncharacteristically darker than what I've heard coming from Bill in the past. Seems like he's on the edge and reaching for help. I wished it wasn't a premium episode to reach a broader audience.

thank you. The church can draw lines on certain things and I realize to some extent those line must exist in some form or fashion. But we can not in 2017 be hushed while others define us innacurately. If there is unhealthiness here, then we must be able to name it.

I cannot help but admire your courage and conviction in doing this podcast,Bill. Being the cheapskate that I am I just now listened to it because apparently it's available for free. I wanted to make sure that fact became available on this thread so that others in this forum who are cheap like me will go and now listen to this podcast. Very powerful, very moving, very true. I hope while I am still somewhat chained to this organization that I will find occasion to match your courage and conviction in sticking up for those who are traumatized. The abuse has to stop.
