While out of the other side of their mouth we hear that the Lord requires perfection and if we try really, really, really hard we can do all that the Lord (church) requires of us.Korihor wrote: ↑Sun May 07, 2017 12:02 pm Posted by an old friend, (TBM)Just do your best, dont get your hopes up too much."May I invite you to rise to the great potential within you. Re: Be a well-behaved woman
Actually, compared to what usually gets preached at women, this is refreshingly realistic. Usually the goal is nothing less than perfection, with total self sacrifice in the name of serving children, husband, church, and it is all your fault if you can't do it. I would much rather, "don't get your hopes up too much" than, "it is all your fault if you can't be the perfect wife, mother, church member by completely giving up everything yourself."Korihor wrote: ↑Sun May 07, 2017 12:02 pm Posted by an old friend, (TBM)Just do your best, dont get your hopes up too much."May I invite you to rise to the great potential within you.
