Anyone else catch Bill Reel's podcast last night before it disappeared?

It was exactly what I needed to share with spouse. Exactly what would open up a great conversation. I couldn't wait to share it with him this morning - and then it was gone :(

edited to add: Bill quoted what somebody on FB wished he or Gina would repost - he commented 'consider it done' and read what it said. I've gone through his FB page, but I can't seem to find this repost - anyone catch that? It was the real gold I wanted to share - so much of why we don't attend anymore.

No didn't catch.

But you might get a response from Bill on his thread on this page: a Mormon Primer - or similar title.

I just looked this afternoon after seeing your post and I was able to download it from my PocketCasts app. I really feel for Bill. I can hear the pain, frustration, and sincerity in his voice. He has stuck it out much longer than I was able to. People like them would really make the church a better place if the oligarchs would listen. If you read this, I hope for the best for you on your journey, but know that there is life and goodness outside of abusive corrupt institutions.

Over the past few years it's been interesting to see how everyone traverses the same path. No matter how much we don't want it, or how much we fight or deny, the road out of the church doesn't loop around back into the building. The road splits and diverges, but the fact of the matter is that anyone who walks out, or even acknowledges that such a thing exists, is not welcome.

We can get so caught up in what the church could be, that we blind ourselves to what it actually is. The problem is systemic, and there's no mechanism for changing the system.

i wasn't happy with the tone so we revised it essentially exact same message, slightly less emotion, and a few words made softer as well as added info.
