Driving in my underwear

Well, there is a story about driving in my underwear, but that will come later. It's not as interesting as you might imagine.
We went to church today, only it was not the LDS church. We went again to the little christian/baptist church we've attended a few times now. They are doing a 4 week series on marriage. Today's sermon was specifically about sex. Frankly, I can't count the number of times the word "sex" was said. I can't imagine a talk like this ever being delivered at SM. The sermon included 7 reasons for sex in marriage, I can't remember all 7, but included procreation, comfort, recreation, closeness, vulnerability, and I don't recall. I don't think this sermon is the end all be all to marital relations, but it was refreshing to hear at church.

Anyway, I just enjoyed hearing a honest approach to sexuality in a religious environment. Later that night, we went to the "Newcomers Desert" and became better acquainted with everyone. I don't foresee us jumping in full monty to this church, it is just nice having a place to go to hear about how to be a better person without all the pressure and nonsense we've had before.
Another update. The stake executive secretary finally called tonight to set up a meeting with the SP. He asked if May 10th would be OK, and I politely declined since that is our anniversary date, but said another night would be fine. He seemed rather flummoxed that we couldn't make it and said he would get back to us with another date. Odd, he only had 1 available time to propose for a meeting and couldn't suggest another option? I guess they don't hear too often the words "My regrets, that time won't work for us".
I'm kinda glad they finally called to set up a meeting. I was beginning to think they weren't ever going to say anything.
