Here is this brief they filed

Well, this is interesting.
It mentions Nate Oman as an attorney involved in filing the suit. Per Nate's Bio on Wikipedia, It appears he is active/believing, but likely is rather familiar with the In's and Out's of LDS history/doctrine. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nathan_Oman It says some but not all of the writes are Mormon.
Reviewing this brief, it seems like the 19 guys that participated went to pretty good schools and aren't do-do's. My mind is trying to wrap around this. They seem to present a myopic view regarding the reasons the mormon church was persecuted for the first 100 years of its existence.
I hate to start conspiracy theories, but it sounds like DHO had a hand in this.
I agree with the brief that Muslims shouldn't be persecuted simply for being Muslim, but the parallels it attempts to establish seem pretty flimsy to anyone with a non-correlated understanding of LDS history.
Why would they write this? This seems very odd as is it has underlying intentions.
