I think that's all of them

Yesterday I had lunch with one of my closest TBM friends. He didn't know about my change in beliefs, though I felt like I was being disingenuous by not telling him. He was the last person that I feel a real need to tell, other than DW's family but that is her family so I think she gets to decide if/when that happens. So I took the opportunity to tell him. He used the most trigger words in his response, but was also very genuine in his desire to not kick me out of his tribe. So pretty good.
And that's everyone. I want to say it feels good to be open with everyone, but I'm not sure yet. Our relationships are forever changed and there is no going back.

Congrats on getting out there. It's a bumpy road but the views at the end are spectacular.

Somedays this place feels like the Mormon Rehabilitation Unit.
It's time we release you. You'll be fine. Just remember to eat, drink, and be merry.

Sounds like you're making great progress.
Congratulations.
I think it will be more and more important to get busy doing some things you love to do.
Enjoy. The world is really exciting.

Congratulations! That's a big step. Sometimes some of the relationships will let go or move on, but that is okay. That happens in life, with or without the church. I try to think of church friends the same way I'd think of a gym buddy. If I stop going to the gym, my gym buddy won't be spending as much (if any) time with me. It doesn't mean we don't like each other, it just means our lives are taking a different path for now.

I hate to say it but you have the stink of Satan on you my friend. Stan will be using everything in his power to use you as a tool to get your friend to not live up to his covenants.
My closest cousin, who I had grew up with, who helped me get through some rough times as a teenager, Treated me like a leper when I told him I no longer believed in the church. It really hurt. And the kicker? He was a jack mormon, never went to church, didn't pay tithing, never had a calling. But by god you speak I'll of the COJCOLDS and you are dead to him.
