I found you guys again

I participated on the previous board for a few months, then it went away. I am so glad I found the new one.

I grew up in the Church, served a mission, got married in the temple. A few years ago, it became impossible for me to continue believing. I could not accept the way women and gays are treated. I have not told anyone the full extent of my disbelief. My wife knows a little, but she would not take it well if I came out completely. It would just be one more issue on a pile of problems my marriage has. My bishop also knows a bit. I am working on how to be more honest about my feelings.

I probably won't post much, but I like to read about your experiences and thoughts. Thank you.

Thanks, everyone. I guess I had a reason for my user name, though it's not very creative. I think being a blazer scout way back was the last time I really enjoyed the majority of church activities. I was about as TBM as they come. When I look back on it, my efforts to be faithful were just making me more unhappy. It has taken me a long time to figure out that believing crazy things never was happiness. On the other hand, using a compass, tying sheetbends, and the occasional camp out were a lot of fun.
