Seems like a bad move for them to have demoted Uchtdorf, as the big ship is struggling and he is one of the few that could actually help.

You know, a part of me almost wonders if they assigned him to talk on missionary work. He usually gives such sweet Christ centered talks. He still made it a decent task though.

Maybe because after Uchtdorf was demoted from the FP they made him chairman of the Missionary Executive Council.

Hey, it just occurred to me... maybe that's why sister missionaries can wear pants (sometimes) and missionaries can call home weekly now.

A little less cult-like. I don’t remember the source or exact stats but it was something like general membership is about 70% cult, and missionaries 90% cult.

The call home and sisters wearing pants are good I think. But changing the age to 18 seems to be a desperate act. One year of college or working after high school can go a long way in maturity. Poor mission presidents - they’ll be earning every cent!

Btw, which Gods are you referring to? I’ve been studying mythology etc.
