This talk seems designed to allow many different interpretations.

So let me get this straight - in a talk about following the prophet, Renlund's main evidentiary point is a time a prophet was wrong about something? -10 more for really bad logic.

I'm a little more neutral on this idea of culture vs the church - it can be weaponized to throw out cultural traditions that interfere with old white dude Mormon culture. So I'll keep it zero.

For consistency, +2 for the accent. I do wish that speakers could still talk in their native languages, though.

Just imagine him saying everything in Kevin from the Office's voice. It's super funny.

Put yourself in the shoes of a little child, whose prayers were never answered, who was left abused year after year after year by her "high priest" father, listening to these talks.
God does not answer prayers. (how should they interpret silence?)
God does not bless children.
The church does not help anyone see clearly, or guide, or help.

For the privileged it works.
For those, who through no fault of their own, are in war-torn countries, are starving, live with abuse, have to deal with any real "trials" these talks are BS. rubbing vinegar on wounds, condemning innocents, show complete detachment from the reality of most people on this planet.

My heart hurts for all watching who are not receiving the guidance they need through this grooming/sickening/parade of wolves in sheep clothing.
