Some 50 years ago, I participated in ....um....maybe the dedication of the land for the Provo Temple? And then when the Nauvoo temple was dedicated and was broadcast to stake centers and we had to have a temple recommend to get in, both times I remember this Hosana shout as a temple only ceremony, much too sacred to let just anyone participate. So, now they are going to broadcast what is a temple type ceremony over television?

And, I am sort of puking at the Joseph worship already and we are just getting started.

It's definitely difficult to feel anything for the romanticized history of my youth/early adulthood, when you know the real history. I find myself just being dismissive of what Ballard's saying.
