Remember in the JS days how the way to keep the people in the "boat" was for JS to ramp up the detail and hype of his visions? The whole First Vision came from something like stopping the apostasy in Kirtland.
My opinion is something similar is gunna happy again...or at least that is the rumor that is coming through the channels I know about now.

One of the biggest issues I can see with the Potf is the reference to heavenly parents. There are very few overt references to the Heavenly Mother. Canonisation would be a look at me red flag that could go viral purely because of it's unique positioning within Modern Christianity.
