Feels like he is justifying MTC closures and other consolidations of branches and wards like is happening in Europe.

Bednar is falsely implying that we should not talk specifically about the covenants we make. I really disagree. How can you covenant on the spot, to something you don’t know about ahead of time.

I bumped into a member of the ward last night who asked what I thought of the missionary change. Since I have not listened to much of conference I wasn't sure what they were talking about. They claimed the duration for boys is now a choice between 18 and 24 months. Was this actually announced, or are they just parroting a rumor?
