I'm glad I helped you feel better. The church is the one who should be asking for your forgiveness. The real question shouldn't be "why are Mormon women so complicit..?" It should be: "Why would a church treat it's daughters and mothers, wives and sisters this way?"

No worries at all - that's the challenge of online posting. I really thought what you said was funny in context, and I was hoping that the two laughy faces would show that. So we're all good. Self-depreciation doesn't play well on the interwebs.

But you are also bang on, I think the damage to women does go a lot deeper than how I put it, I've seen it in my own extended family as well.
