Church service taking away time with family when you have cancer isn't a positive thing IMO. Even if you pull through. Even if it's for one of the prestigious callings.

People go to church for 2 hours.
We have sacrament meetings.
The Elders Quorum President does interviews.
Missionaries read Preach My Gospel.

Yeah buddy, we've all been to church for more than five minutes and we picked up on all that.
