The thing that keeps bothering me about the trailer for this film is the way it uses the tired old trope that people weren't kind to early Mormons merely because they are evil servants Satan trying to impede the work. It plays to that built-in sense of persecution that Mormons relish so much.

Friday: $73,000 Saturday: $55,000 Sunday: $7,000 (any guesses who's attending this film?)
A Quiet Place:
Friday: $6,250,000 Saturday: $7,772,000 Sunday: $5,245,000
That's probably not too bad, considering the narrow audience. They're probably going to make most of their money at Christmas from DVDs given by Grandma as stocking stuffers.
