My "truth crisis" came after all our kids had grown up. Our 8 kids (her 5, my 3) are about 50% out. The 24 grandkids are almost all being brought up in the Church, but their parents are all good responsible, sane people. No excessive LDS shaming that I'm aware of, at least not in the family. One grandson's bishop told him he had to cut his hair before he could become a deacon, but that was a bishop, not a parent.
I appreciate nuanced/TBM son and daughter's in law that are flexible with our unbelieving kids.

God is Love. God is Truth. The greatest problem with organized religion is that the organization becomes god, rather than a means of serving God.
