I guess people who constantly buy into self-delusion think their delusions are "helpful and enlightening."

Interesting how such "helpful and enlightening" things can't be helpful to anyone except the self-deluded person who's making such things up, because "secret," ya know?

They couldn't mention what they learned due to oaths of silence. Hopefully, it was helpful and enlightening to them.
I wonder how many of those people were secretly disappointed their first time through? Even if they were not creeped out by the weirdness, or bothered by the sexism, was there really anything "special" about the experience? I found the green aprons, the veils, and the funny hats to be such a distraction, on top of all the other weird stuff, that I couldn't find peace in the celestial room. I just couldn't wait to get out and check it off the list. I wonder how many others felt the same disappointment, but convinced themselves it was wonderful and enlightening? I tried for a number of years to convince myself, but was always more bothered than blessed.

I learned that creepy old men get away with molesting young boys during washing and anointing.
