When you say: "Blessings as a descendant of Lehi", do you mean his implied lineage as a "Lamanite" via Lehi, or does his Patriarchal Blessing actually say he is of the lineage of Lehi?

Good question. He and I did attend seminary together in high school during the Book of Mormon year and this question came up. His patriarchal blessing stated that his lineage is through Manasseh. The fact that this is just like Lehi (Alma 10:3) is not stated in his blessing, but virtually every seminary teacher and church leader who has known him has implied that lineage. What else would a documented member of both the Navajo and Hopi tribes also be a faithful Mormon?

Fascinating!

You're right, though; Your BIL has WAY more MORMON cred than any of us. (If you believe the Book of Mormon to be historical.) "Our" ancestors joined since Joseph Smith "restored" mormonism. Your BIL's ancestors may have actually known MORMON. (Or could be MORMON's actual descendant.) You can't get much more MORMON than that. :D

In addition, he holds BYU Football season tickets. Can any of you make that claim?

You should start a NOM Relative Finder Group. I'd do it, but I'm too lazy...
