Speaking of DNA arguments, the Diageo Distillery of Kingston, Jamaica makes the bold assertion that we've all got a little Captain Morgan in all of us.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.
