How did you find the new site?

This is for encouragement, ideas, and support for people going through a faith transition no matter where you hope to end up. This is also the place to laugh, cry, and love together.

I wish I knew how to reach everyone and I hope they find us. 4900? Wow :(

I found it from Reddit. I found Reddit and really started using it from the original NOM site.

Quick questions: Do you know what is going on with the original NOM site? Is it going to come back one day? That might be awkward if there are two NOM websites.

Also, have you thought about advertising this site on google or somewhere else?

Our dear friend hagoth texted me that it was back up. I have tried to encourage some of my NOM friends to participate as well and let them know personally that it is back up.

I personally don't know what happened with the old site and haven't seen an explanation anywhere online. I hope someday the content may become available but your guess is as good as mine.

Advertising on Google might be a good idea.

I think Hagoth posted something in the Tapatalk discussion section about the possibility of a new site. A google search led me here.

Could NOM 2.0 be listed at the Mormon Archipelago, Wheat & Tares, and Mormon Matters?

BTW, in the subtitle, I think you might attract a larger audience if you changed the term faith transition to faith reevaluation. I know as a member, that would be less off-putting to me. I intend for my next transition to be outside the realm of the living, not to a loss of affiliation. Even the term faith quandaries would be more inclusive.
Good faith does not require evidence, but it also does not turn a blind eye to that evidence. Otherwise, it becomes misplaced faith.

I found it on Reddit and MDB. It's good to see all of you again!

There is a New Order Mormon Facebook group? I may have to do some lurking there.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/NewOrderMormon/ It's a closed group but they let me in immediately. Not too many people in the group but some good discussion.

Someone posted a message on an old defunct Facebook page. A few clicks later, and here I am, post count all fresh like a daisy.

Send them to Hagoth and Corsair.

Good to see you back. We had an "Oliver" sign up yesterday and the avatar was different but I thought there was a small chance it was you. We like last names too, so maybe you can tell us what lineage Denom is from? Let me guess... The tribe of Ephraim?

No, no. It's Milwaukee.

After a few weeks of withdrawal, I googled NOM Thayne Red Ryder and Hagoth and came upon a thread on Mormon Discussions. Then I stalked it daily until there was the link to the new site. Thanks to all for putting this back together. I don't post often, but check in frequently.

Someone posted on reddit that there was a new new-order-Mormon board, and if I would beg and plead, and get current on my tithing, I might be allowed back.
