It is difficult for me not to be cynical when it comes to certain Mormonistic points of view.

First of all- the church seems to have left the curb some time ago, and has been walking the street of the "corporation".

That means "pay to play". The temple. Pay at that window if you want in. Period. Of course it didn't start that way. The rumor is that the saints were drunk on beer when they dedicated the Kirkland temple. In any case, Jos. Smith and others drank booze, smoked and drank coffee. Lots of evidence of that. Those days are gone forever.

It doesn't take a genius to know what we should or should not be eating, smoking or snorting- whether or not it is good for us. Good grief. Eat a five pound steak and half a chocolate cake, but not a sip of coffee? Get outta here with that rubbish.

Nope- the WofW is here to stay, because you gotta pay to play. Sure, there are those who sneak a puff, or drink or everything else, but as long as they pay their tithing....well, it's okay....come on in- the water's fine.
