Podcastinterview of one of my best friends
"Getting the Mormon out of the Church is easier than getting the Mormon out of the Ex-Mormon"
Re: Podcastinterview of one of my best friends
Thanks for recommending that, Meilingkie. Your friend is very articulate and does an excellent job of explaining everything in a concise, intelligent, and entertaining way.

I listened to this podcast and thought it was great. You have a good friend.
One thing that stood out to me was his discussion about temple work. Why are we going through such lengths to identify relatives and perform the temple ordinances for them when in the millennium everyone will ride from the dead and can do the work for themselves?
I’m reminded if the Mormon stories interview with Donna Showalter where she had to make a decision to either continue spending time for the dead, or put her efforts to helping the living.

His dad has been a Stakepresident once, and a bishop multiple times of various wards.
I always felt as a recent convert back in 1997 he had a golden perfect youth.
I was so jealous. Knowing what I now know I am not.....
And I pity his mom, a longsuffering sweet, sweet, perfect mormon lady.
