Hello again everyone,....some of the "old timers" here know me. I've been gone for a while, but am circling back as I miss the banter as well as just the fun this site brought.

I've read a lot of your posts to my partner, and we have both laughed at the whit more than once! <<thank you for that>>

What is going on out there? Can anyone kindof fill me in on the LDS changes, what the current controversies are, etc?

I kindof remember reading they changed the temple ceremony again, allowing Eve to be more of a human and less property? Also, something about 2 hour blocks?...

Are they still avoiding the topic completely with the "GROSS INCOME" vs "NET"...etc....and does anyone even care about the poverty and asking someone to donate money instead of buying medicine or food?

They are firing LGBTQIA+ friendly professors and Holland gave a speech to the faculty asking for "musket fire" to defend the BYU from the Gays.

One other thing that may be noteworthy... female missionaries can wear pants!

Not just on P-days but on regular days when they are out working. I don't know about Sundays, but I'm guessing they're expected to don a dress on the sabbath.

I wish they'd done that when I was on a mission (Michigan). It would have made walking around in the winter less miserable.
